To qualify for a limited warranty transfer an original warranty registration and yearly water samples must be on file with Greentech Manufacturing, Inc.
After Greentech Manufacturing, Inc. recieves the Transfer Initiation Request form, they will research the stove history and, if all required documentation is correct, they will reach out to the dealer to do the inspection. The dealer will complete and submit the Change of Ownership form.
Greentech Manufacturing, Inc. requires all stoves go through a dealer stove check to transfer an existing warranty. This Stove Check consists of a physical Dealer inspection, including pictures and a written recommendation, and a change of ownership form submitted to Greentech Manufacturing, Inc. This process should not be started until you get confirmation from Greentech Manufacturing, Inc. that the original warranty registration was submitted and that all water tests were performed.
It is the responsibility of the customer to pay for all fees associated with the stove check. There is a fee collected from the local dealer for completing the on-site dealer stove check. The local dealer collects this fee from the customer. Fees average $200 but could be more or less depending on the customer’s location from the dealership. A dealer stove check must be completed by the local dealer or we cannot transfer a warranty.
A transferred warranty begins where the original warranty is at in its current 20-year term. (Example: If the Crown Royal Stove is 5 years old the warranty to be transferred is the remaining 15 years of the limited warranty.)
